I have decided to create a post to group all the awesome games I’ve been playing lately.
Desktop sharing

Subversion (SVN) is an incredibly useful tool when you have a big project and you want to make sure that everyone is working on the most up-to-date code and that no one is overwriting someone else’s hard work. What do you do, though, when you don’t yet have a big project, and what you actually need to do is to go over some code with another person?
First, you can use a voice chat. Pretty much every IM tool supports it now (i.e., MSN, GoogleTalk, Skype).
Second, you can share your desktop. That used to be a little tricky – not difficult, but bothersome -, but I have found an interesting tool called Yuuguu. It’s very easy to install and use, and the only person that needs to install it is the one sharing his desktop. Everyone else can just receive the images through the browser. I’m sure there are other tools like Yuuguu out there, but what won me was that from downloading to sharing, it took about a minute.
